Study yourself.   Gaylord Parsons (Founder) An alumnus of the Hollywood Film Institute, Gaylord has studied "Directing Craft" with Frederick Johntz and Dov Simens in Santa Monica, California, and "Emotional Dynamics for Actors" with Carl Oppenheimer in New York City. Gaylord has appeared in various independent films such as Promiscuous Partners, and Hits the Fan. He received critical acclaim for his directorial debut of Bitch Gia at Seven Stages Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia in November, 1997. Grammy Award winners Kandi Burrus, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, and Monica Arnold round out the list of stellar actors that have studied with Gaylord at the Celebrity Actor’s Studio. In September 2001, Gaylord was cast as a triple threat in the Musical "A Time To Dance." (Written by Candace Long. Producer and Casting Director, Shay Griffin) A sought after coach......Gaylord has also taught many innovative seminars including the Urban American Filmmakers Workshop for actors at Emory university, which featured himself and Vanessa Williams as head Instructors....and has appeared as guest lecturer for the film department at the American Intercontinental University in Buckhead Atlanta. Music Video Director Credits include the innovative "Nasty Love" video for the female pop soul group Rapture (MTV, VH1, BET). As leader and drummer of the platinum status band Ca$hflow, Gaylord has performed on shows with Jermaine Jackson, Cameo, Natalie Cole, Simply Red, Franky Beverly, and has also appeared on Europe's number one entertainment TV program "Top of The Pops" (BBC: London).
